I voted for Firefly because I'm not into vampires, but also because the arc of that season was so promising and well-written. Western + Space opera + sarcasm = Epic Win.
I'm with Anastasia...I love the man's work. Dollhouse is perhaps my least favorite, but Firefly, Buffy, and Dr. Horrible have much in the way of awesome.
I don't see the Space Western as a bad genre, but it's a concept that starts out with a handicap -- how do you explain the vast discrepancies in technology?
Battletech did a reasonably good job with this problem. And Firefly was an excellent show. But I think that the Space Western is especially prone to cheesiness without extra care by the writers.

I initially didn't include Dr. Horrible in the poll, but then I remembered that this was such a seminal work in the Whedon portfolio that I couldn't leave it out.
Buffy - for its longevity, a spinoff, and not making vampires sparkly.
Yes, and it's sad that the Buffyverse did not have a decisive influence on the vampiric genre, or else our culture would be spared our present Twilight woes.
