LaShawn Barber sure does complain a lot about trolls in her comments.
Who knows? Perhaps she's more controversial that it appears. Certainly being a Black conservative writer and speaker could attract a lot of anger from the Left.
But on this post on her trolling problem, I left a comment which addressed Barber's ongoing trolling problem. It was (quoting from memory) "I wonder why this blog is afflicted with so many trolls disproportionate to its size." And my comment was deleted!
Not that I particularly care. I guess that I'm not one of the elect.

I've been deleted a time or two for disagreeing with LaShawn (or more precisely agreeing with one of her critics). He policy of my way or the highway is, well, getting on my nerves currently.
I e-mailed her recently, and it bounced back.
Some people open up their blogs for any comments. Some prefer to be selective. Rush Limbaugh one said that the purpose of callers on his show was to make him look good. Agree or disagree, it was his show and his call screener looked for callers who would make him look good.
La Shawn has a great blog, but she's very confident in her views (which is a good thing.) She probably hasn't had a ton of trolls, but the ones that have appeared have been nasty. (There are a couple of sites and a cartoon strip that consistently tear her down.) So if she's a little too sensitive, I understand.
And if she wants to delete comments for any reason or no reason at all, it's her call. (As much as it might drive some of us crazy.)
