I've eliminated anonymous comments from my blog. I've had a few snarky comments from people who lack the courage to identify themselves.
I'm not sure why this practice offends me, but it does.
Unfortunately, this means that regular commenters who do not have a Blogger username but do leave their names will not be able to comment. Sorry.

Sorry about snarkiness. I get it too, but eliminate them using Haloscan. Mean snarky, irritating snarky or evil snarky?
I mean irritating, ad hominem, and anonymous.

You might consider making the jump to Haloscan. Not only is the comment managment tool nice, but you could recieve trackback pings that way. Just a thought.
I tried a few months back, but couldn't get it to work properly. I might try again this weekend.
