Arthur Chrenkoff (hat tip) has a list of the most vile quotations about New Orleans -- you know, blaming Bush for this catastrophe and attempting to make political hay out of the suffering of millions, etc. Since our President has control over the forces of nature (see Article III of the Constitution), clearly he let us down by choosing to create a hurricane.
It would be difficult to match BradBlog (hat tip), who is calling upon readers to refrain from donating to disaster relief since Louisiana and Mississippi voted for Bush in the last two elections, but I'm going to give it a shot:
Bush used the telekenesis conferred upon him by Karl Rove to personally destroy the levee while strangling puppies and ordering his minions to block refugee columns out of New Orleans by flooding the roads with toxic waste and tapioca pudding. I call upon all readers to launch nuclear attacks against the hurricane-struck areas to punish them for voting for Bush.
There. I challenge any nutjob blogger to beat that one.
No one can out crazify me!

Let us not forget some of the Wacky things said from the right.
House Speaker Dennis Haster said
"It looks like a lot of that place could be bulldozed"
&
"We ought to take a second look at it. But you know we build Los Angeles and San Francisco on top of earthquake fissures and they rebuild, too. Stubbornness."
As far as the lefties that think that people shouldn't donate to areas that voted red.... New Orleans votes DEMOCRAT. So, maybe they could designate their money to N.O. but not the "Redneck Riveria".
Need is Need, no matter how people vote.
