Nope. I scan the new updates, but I'm completely lost as to what is going on in this story.
I understood the problem at first. Somebody "leaked" that Valerie Plame was a CIA operative. But after the investigation started, I got lost.
VALERIE PLAME (THE "OUTING")
She was a secret operative,
A spy, so as they say,
Brought down by crime none could forgive:
The truth got in the way.
It is established fairly clear
As even early on
Seemed obvious, that she was, poor dear
A victim and a pawn
Within a game extending to
The highest reach of power--
This not exaggeration: who
Would think?--the hour grown sour.
In national security
Alas the need for spies
Remains a constant, since, you see,
Sun Tzu´s time who was wise.
Yet how explain these would betray
The national interest for
Propping a lie, in order they
Might wage an unjust war?
They are not, truly, patriots
In such a sense as Lincoln
Had been--despotic juggernauts
Of monolithic thinking.
The aim was not the better for
The nation as a whole,
But part sectarian, privileged core
Albeit without a soul.
It was that she--her surname Plame--
Valerie should we say?
Happened, amidst their deadly game
To stumble in the way.
