When I was five, I asked my mother what hair was made of. She attempted to explain it to me, but I lacked the capacity to grasp what she was saying (many of my commentors may be sympathetic to her plight). Anyway, eventually, she said "protein." "What's that?" Mama tried to explain it to me, but all I understood was her example of protein -- peanut butter.So for years I believed that hair was made out of peanut butter.

considering hair treatments some hair might be more metal than protein.

My mother has e-mailed me to inform us that it was Bama brand peanut butter.
And yes, it was creamy. It works into the scalp so well.
