An Epiphany

My brain is turning mushy as I try to force NT Greek inside of it. In the midst of the haze, I had a sudden revelation. The KJV-onlyists are right! God blessed that translation, making it perfect. We have no need to pour over Greek and Hebrew texts when we have God's Word available in (slightly arcane) English!

Hallelujah!

You are a genious! And absolutely right. LOL I love the KJV. If time travel were invented today, I think I could probably speak with the Pilgrims and never miss a word.

Yes! The KJV is great! There is no need for seminarians to study Greek and Hebrew when the Bible was originally composed in English.

When I read this, I got a flashback to my fourth semester of Greek and thought, "Dear Lord, thank you for Your deliverance. For it is You that delivered me out of my agony."

And, of course KJV is the most inspired, John Macarthur told me so.

Oh. The exact conversation I had a couple weeks ago with a woman in my Bible study...she goes on and on about the KJV. At one point I mentioned that it's important to go back to the original language to help interpret, & she basically said,"they've already done it for me, why would I need to look, when this is the correct translation?" ARGHHH!
