John's last name is unknown. I thought it was "the Methodist." I always figured he legally changed it to that to show his loyality to the church.
There was obviously an age-bias in the article, no one but youngsters quoted. I think I'm going to start a caucus for middle-aged UM bloggers so we will be included at the table.
i was talking to someone out there almost a year ago about all this giving names and such.. i don't think it was written by the same person i talked too (i'd have to scan oold emails), but it's nice that someone finally followed through with the article.

Congrats to you, Beth, Theresa, Shane and the rest on the recognition!!! I am glad to see that y'all are now officially "Bona Fide!"
Great job, John unknown-last-name-but-who-can-be-verified-by-a-DS-and-pastor). I found that very funny!
And no mention of teh hoosier Pastor :( Well, I guess I am quite new and not very consistent.
I cannot help but to wonder if maybe John is a wanted man, what with all the bunnies and such ...

'Youngster'?
I'm an old man of thirty years.
I'm impressed at Beth's ordination, considering that she isn't yet old enough to drive, vote, or buy beer.
good article - now famous John - whom nobody knows ... do the DS and pastor really exist or are they all John???
