I've got to ask. Have you ever noticed a rabbit to have ANY sense of cause and effect? I've had 4 over the years, and none of them had a lick of sense.
Heh. No, I haven't. My rabbits still haven't figured out leashes. When I harness them for a walk, they bolt and slam against the leash's tension. And they can't figure out why they can't move.
Nor can they figure out the relationship between them getting sprayed with my water gun and their chewing on the carpet.
I've heard so many stories of house rabbits that live like cats -- completely free within their own houses. But I find them hard to believe.
Maybe my bunnies were just poorly socialized as kits and don't understand how to relate to humans.

I had the same bunnies you do. I heard about them smart rabbits too, but the phrase dumb-bunny seems much more appropriate to me.
Good thing they're cute!
