You must be using the RSV--Rabbit Standard Version.

Actually, it's the New Lapine Standard Bible. I don't care for the RSV's politically-correct but linguistically inaccurate gender renderings.
Down here in Texas, RSV also stands for Redneck Standard Version. A sample translation:
"When the Man Upstairs saw that he had walked over to take a gander, God hollered to him from within the mesquite tree. 'Howdy, Mo!'
'I'm righ'chere, boss.'
'Pull up on yor reins, boy, and kick off yor boots. The pasture yor standin' on is holy pasture.'"
