A Blog of Geek Eccentricities
Zombies must be a big problem in Orlando.
Maybe elsewhere, too. Or at least Weekend Fisher thinks they would make a good statement on a tract (without saying a word.)
The state motto is "Come for the Man-Eating Alligators, Stay for the Flesh-Eating Zombies." The writing is a bit small on the license plates, but if you look closely enough, it's there.
I'm a fantasy/sci-fi nerd. My wife is not. When we go to the book store, she'll stand right next to me when I'm in the philosophy section, but the physical space between us grows a bit when I wander into that dark, nerd-infested part of the store. She pretends to look at calenders or magazines or whatever is nearby. So imagine my surprise when, in the car the other night, I asked "do you ever think about where, in the event of an invasion by zombies, you'd choose to make your final stand?" and she answered that she had indeed thought about it, then gave me sound pros and cons to local grocery and hardware stores. In the end we both agreed on Wal-Mart. It turns out that Wal-Mart is indeed good for something.Thank you John for continuing to raise awareness on these issues.
I am glad that in spite of our other many theological and politial differences, Jockeystreet, that we can agree on the primacy of this issue for our national security.
Hmmm. I supposed Wal-Mart is the closest real-world equivalent to S-Mart?
