Back from MethoBlogCon

I finally arrived from the Methobloggers' meetup in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I'm too tired right now to write a lengthy post, and I had no laptop from which to update while at the convention. But be sure to check out the blogs of those Methobloggers who were present:

Gavin Richardson
Jonathon Norman
DogBlogger
Theresa Coleman
Abi Carlisle-Wilke
Beth Quick
Jay Voorhees
Mark Winter
Susan Cox-Gordon

My thanks to Jay, Gavin, Theresa, and Jonathon for organizing this event and especially to the Foundation for Evangelism for funding it.

I'll write more tomorrow. And I'll update the "Alma-Tadema of the Week" in the sidebar, because I know that ya'll are just itching for a new one and will probably complain to my DS if I don't put a new one up.

Was Andrew Thompson not there? I could have sworn that I read somewhere that he was going.

No, he didn't make it.

Great to meet up!...yes my last name is "Cox-Johnson"...I've been trying to think if there is anyone with the last name of "Gordan" I'd like to marry, the second time around, but right now, I will pass on it...

Since the Foundation for Evangelism is such an advanced, forward thinking group to invite bloggers to their event, they're putting all the addresses on a podcast - right????

Really enjoyed getting to meet you, John, and especially appreciated what you said at the dinner -- acknowledging that we can and do disagree, yet not being able to imagine separation from your brother Jonathon. (Sure, the caption contest photo happened just moments later, but still...)

Blessings to you!
