A Blog of Geek Eccentricities
John, your label on this post is very appropriate.
Well these guys make a lot more sense now.
Oh to be one of his neighbors.
As much as I love the pipes, I thank John Williams for his decision to leave them out of the SW scores.
I've wondered how people learn to play the bagpipes. One would need a private, soundproofed room on a daily basis. But they make such marvelous sounds! Is anyone else thinking of Spock's funeral from Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan right now?
I don't think any one else is thinking of Spock's funeral, John, ever.
Sorry Jim - and I really hate to mention this but, YES, I almost immediately thought of Spock's funeral scene from Star Trek - The Wrath of Khan. Never has there been a more moving use of the bagpipes!Geekery indeed!
