One of the most nerve-wracking parts of being a CPE student/chaplain is that you never know what you're going to get when you walk into a patient room. It can be a person filled with the joy of Christ, or someone who throws a bedpan at the chaplain.
So here's my idea for a hidden camera show: get actors to pose as hospital patients, rig the room with hidden cameras, and wait for the chaplain interns to show up. Make the patients as eccentric as possible, or create bizarre situations/problems for the chaplain interns.
What do you think?

I like it. Can I volunteer? Maybe we can do that for prospective seminary students and simulate the eccentric, bizarre situations/problems they'll face in ministry.
Then again, never mind. I don't know if we could determine whether those situations would be in dealing in local church or with their fellow clergy. ;)
Let us not forget my personal favorite: The Screamer. All you have to do is show up at the door looking clerical and she starts wailing at the top of her lungs, there is no soothing her, or calming her, just leave.
With the horror stories I have heard from CPE, I doubt you would need any practical jokes. Our new D.S. once told me that he "performed" an exorcism one time for this lady that was screaming at the demons in her head and in the room. (While he was an intern/CPE at a hospital in Atlanta) He relays the memory still gives him chills.
Heh. An exorcism. Heh.
I have had a couple of screamers. What a joy.
I also have had the "drop on the floor and roll around, thrashing all the while and screaming at the top of my lungs" several times too. What fun!
