Sacrament of the Last Supper by Dali
When I turned and beheld this onehttp://www.vggallery.com/painting/p_0781.htmI stumbled and nearly fell from the grand wonderment of the work.
The Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo.
This one"
Good choices all around. I'm especially interested in Kurt's selection, which is delightfully disturbing. Which I suppose is appropriate.
I have a print of it hanging in my office over at the church.
Warning sappy answer to follow:my children
Van Gogh's "Starry Night" or "Starry Night Over Rhone". Either one, really.
I really love "Spring" and "The Storm" from Pierre Auguste Cot (I think you posted about him a long time ago.) I love really love the religious art of He Qi, though no particular one more than others. Just his style overall.
