Actually, years ago, when Patrick Stewart hosted SNL, they did a skit of "Love Boat: The Next Generation" with some of the same ideas -- except it obviously wasn't a mashup but a live-action skit (with an unbilled cameo by Bernie "Doc" Koppell!). They had Geordi as the bartender, making the double finger point just like Isaac in the original. And they had Charo (not the real Charo, but an SNL cast member) as the bored mistress of a Ferengi businessman, if I recall corectly. The uniforms were like ST:TNG except with white instead of black, and with shorts instead of long pants.

Yep, John, that's, as Elmer would say, a wreally wild wrabbit and just on the other side of the road, from Jumonsville's Glen, is the Methodist Camp ground.

Say, did you ever hear the Deadmilk Men's "Methodist Coloring Book"?
That really, or wreally, happened to moi though it was a Summer Bible School plastic faux stained glass water-coloring.
I got praised vastly for the one I did at age 10 then the next summer they gave us the SAME work to paint soooooooooo, WTF - I already had one painted "Normally" so I went abstract and just got the Methodist dickens cussed outta me.
As you may know, I hope not, no one can out cuss a Methodist WITHOUT using actual cuss words.

Stay on groovin' safari,
Tor

Thanks for the recommendation, Tor. I hadn't heard of that song, but it was cute.

I tend to color far outside the lines, myself. Or ignore them wholly.
