Dude, total flashback of some cartoon that had this meme. It was a black hole that made a hole in anything. I don't remember Wile E. Coyote, but it sounds like that kind of cartoon.
Now my brain hurts. What was it? Am I making this up?
It's from the Beatles' Yellow Submarine.
"I've got a hole in my pocket. Well, half a hole, anyway. I gave the other half to Jeremy."
It seems like Bugs Bunny or Road Runner had a 'toon with a similar theme, but I can't say for sure.
I found a Wikipedia article on the Portable Hole . It talks about the use of such a hole in various cartoons. It also has a large section on the concept in Dungeons and Dragons.
Enjoy!
Who Framed Roger Rabbit! Of course! When the detective uses it to cut through the magnet!
Ah, now I can finish my sermon in peace. Thanks Rich. And thank you Wikipedia for being just ridiculous sometimes.
