I've long enjoyed this soft, mournful ballad about lost love.
The video is a fanvid for some anime thing, and is the only embeddable recording that I could find online. But the sound quality is high.

i was watching some hip mtv show the other day and stopped, listened closely, and said to erin 'gosh i love this song. hadn't heard this in years.' erin asked who it was. it was matthew sweet. she hadn't heard of matthew sweet. we are in counseling now. &:~)
