Here's the week in review in the Methodist blogosphere:

Larry Hollon wrote about human rights concerns in the Philippines, the creation account in the Gospel of John, reporting on a UMC pastor from Crawford, Texas, the way seminary prepares pastors to miscommunicate, and memories of trains.

Everest climber who was either Hindu or Muslim, depending on who you talk to, and therefore where he should be buried. Again, I confess total ignorance of Malaysian politics, so I might not understand.
Gavin Richardson gave advice about what to blog about when you have blogger's cramp.

Dan Gates wrote about pro-gay UMC pastors and offered New Year's Resolutions for conservative Methodists.

Steven Webster wrote about the prophetess Anna in the Gospel of Luke and speculated about her place in Judean history.
Theoblogical thinks that churches should more firmly oppose the war in Iraq and that the goal of Christian action is reconciliation.
Tony Mitchell wrote that Methodists should take action for the poor and downtrodden for our New Year's resolution.
Tough Times reflected on the cyclical nature of Christmas and the New Year.
Shane Raynor wrote about Bible translations.

UPDATE: Andy Stoddard added to the list.

Hey! I got a "best" rating??
John, thank you again for the work you do on this service. Happy New Year!
McLaren's most recent book inspired my 2006 New Year's resolutions, which I share at http://thatisnotmyblog.blogspot.com.
John,
You brought a smile to my face. Thanks for including me this time, and I will adhere to the guidelines from here on out.
Peace,
DC
david is back on the mbwr? i guess we dropped the rev camphouse boycott & i didn't get the memo? &:~)
Hey John. Check out Andy Stoddard at http://midtoil.blogspot.com/. He emailed Shane about being put on the Methodist Blogroll, but there must be a boycott going against him. :)
But check him out anyway. He does a daily post on lectionary readings among other things.
Hey, I did New Year's non-resolutions and what to look forward to as well!
I evidently missed the boat again for lack of posts with 4 paragraphs or more. That's ok. I made sure today's was long enough so I could make it into the prestigious "Roundup" next week.
thanks john for rounding up ;)
