Alfred R. Barber was a 19th Century painter from Colchester, U.K. He is best known today for his depictions of domesticated animals, particularly rabbits. This is Escaped: Two Rabbits and a Guinea Pig.

John Roddam Spencer Stanhope (1829-1908) was a British Pre-Raphaelite painter. He was heavily influenced by Burne-Jones (as you can see in his work) and, to a lesser extent, by Rossetti. This painting is The White Rabbit.
