A Wrong Fisking

"Fisking" is a blogospheric term meaning the systematic, point-by-point refutation of an opinion piece that the blogger considers preposterously stupid and/or evil. Harken my wisdom, dear bloggers: if you find an article that outrages you and decide to fisk it, make sure that the article in question is not from The Onion.

Hat tip: Ace.

Ouch. I got my Onion spanking on this very blogsite last year. Now I'm very, VERY careful to take a deep whiff of outrageous/inflammatory articles before proceeding down the comment trail.

the website actually quotes the Onion, calling it an "online magazine". . .This just shows that having the internet doesn't mean one has taken their head out of the sand. . .perhaps it has been plunged it even deeper.
