Thank you for all of the hard work that you've spent putting together the MBWR. I honestly don't know how you've been able to keep it up with all the other stuff you have going on. Your summaries will definitely be missed.

Every week that I clicked on Locusts and Honey and the new MBWR was up, it was like a little mini-Christmas. And that would make John a mini-Santa. In fact, I nominate John as the Perpetual Methoblogosphere Mini-Santa for All-Time. And if that works out, we should set up some type of Ultimate Fighting Championship bout against the Blogospheric Overlord. It would be awesome.
So thanks for all those mini-Christmases, John the Methodist Mini-Santa. For us newbies in the 'sphere, it was a great introduction to our Wesleyan hermanos y hermanas.

Thanks for your efforts. You've made a significant contribution to connecting the Connection.
The Methoblogosphere and the connection we have with each other won't likely exist if it hadn't been the WMBR. It has been a part of my Monday morning routine for many months. I will really miss it, though I understand perfectly why it's become too much to handle. Back in the early days of the Methoblogosphere, you know 2005, there were far fewer sites to review. It's grown and we now need some new way to keep our connection alive.

This has provided me with some great reads from some blogs I wouldn't have gotten to otherwise. But it's got to be a beast of a time-consumer. For someone who's had to struggle with the couseload of seminary enough to wonder when and where there could be time to meet and spend time with nonbelievers, you've probably made the best decision for you. Too bad the cost to us. No hard feelings here; you've got to continue to say no to good things in order to say yes to the best thing.
