John I usually run about 3 miles, 25 minutes or so. Yesterday I felt good and ended up running for almost an hour. One piece of advice when going way longer let your wife know, when I got back she was about ready to call emergency rescue to look for me.
I figure that a treadmill makes it easier because it helps discipline me to keep on going. So as long as I don't push any buttons, I don't have the option of slowing down.

I run on a treadmill, so my wife can always find me. But yes, it's important to be available.
woohoo!! Way to go John... I used to be able to run 6 miles, but that was many years ago!!
I give you much credit for being able to spend that much time on a treadmill! For me, the ADD kicks in way before an hour!

John, that's what I'm talkin' about.

Well, that's pretty much life in general. Except that I don't get a nice soft bed of pine shavings.
Come to think of it, you are right. Everywhere you go is blaring music through a speaker. No peace and quiet.
