Stargate Universe is like Battlestar Galactica, but in the Stargate's universe. I just don't enjoy watching it.
A younger Richard Dean Anderson is all I need. I have had a crush on that man since "Macguyver".
I prefer SG-1 for sheer adventure, of which Atlantis was good, but a somewhat inferior imitation.
Universe is just a really different type of show, so it's something of an apples and oranges comparison. I haven't seen the new BSG, and only vaguely remember the old from my childhood.
I like Universe. It seems promising.
