Interesting. Not sure where the air is coming from, but the imagination can work wonders. Gorgeous little film.
I loved it up until the end. Did the two who were connected die or not? I like the image of being yoked to another as a way to survive, and the temptation to seek out alone leads to death...but it seemed like the duo died too? Sigh.
Johnny Cat, I'm not really sure. But I suspect that the two were bonded involuntarily, and only by the brute force of the larger one.
Jeremy, I think that all three characters died. The last one perished, I suspect, out of some karmic justice by the film makers.
I'm not sure that I like the idea of being yoked together to survive. It's okay so as long as it's a symbiotic relationship, but in this case (as is common), it was a parasitic relationship.
