Jay G of Marooned has a list of -- with YouTube footage -- of what he considers to be the greatest chase scenes in movie history. Among them is the Steven Spielberg's first feature film Duel, which consists almost entirely of a protracted chase scene. My favorite chase scene is from the Quentin Tarantino film Death Proof (language warning).

Ronin (1998) is a action-thriller movie that stars Robert DeNiro and Jean Reno. It is excellent. The chase scene that comes at the end of the movie is unsurpassed.
In Casino Royale there is an awesome chase scene right at the start of the movie, no cars all on foot.
Duel is a good addition as well seeing as the whole movie is basically a chase scene.
I haven't seen Ronin. I'll look for the chase scene.
