A Table Built Specifically for Playing Role-Playing Games

An amazing piece of craftsmanship. Robert Gifford spent thirty years playing RPGs before it occurred to him that rather than make an existing table work for the hobby, he should build one specifically for the task. At the link, you can view more pictures and hear an interview with him.

It is a shame the role playing gamers have climbed far enough up the socio-economic ladder to by luxury items like special tables.

It takes the punk, garage band, underground vibe out of it.

Oh wait? We're a bunch of nerds. We never had a vibe.

Yeah, I only had dusty folding tables and chairs in an either baking hot or freezing cold comic book store. And we had to haul those tables to the store in the snow, uphill, both ways. And we loved it!
