Interesting question, John. My husband has often said that when he retires from practicing law he would like to teach a required class at seminary to teach aspiring pastors how to run a small business (which most churches are).
He would cover how to read and understand financial statements, how to choose auditors, how to create realistic budgets and project costs and cash flow.
