How Would Star Wars Be Different If George Lucas Was a Methodist?

  • Luke Skywalker's Jedi training would take twelve years, not one.

  • Yoda would be considered a comparatively young Jedi.

  • The Empire would have a publicly stated and supported set of very progressive Social Principles, which it would then ignore.

  • Some Jedi would not believe in the Force, or would suggest that it was only a socially-constructed reality.

Lucas actually did grow up Methodist.

there would be enough of the force inside of everyone to be a jedi if they choose to believe.

Jedi's choosing not to believe in the Force, would lose the Force, but could later in life come back to the Force as if it never had left them, if they chose to truly believe again.

...the Death Star would not be completed due to a shortfall in apportionments!

The emporer would spend a lot of time trying to convince Luke that he was pre-destined to fail and muttering something about TULIPs.

This reminded me of the site Stuff Christians Like. It was funny and so true.

-the attack on the Death Star would have to be delayed another four years for the next Rebelist General Conference

-prominent Empire officials would deny the Virgin Birth of Darth Vader

-Obi Wan Kenobi wouldn't have to be killed off, the bishop would just assign him to mentor another young Jedi

-When Hans Solo came out of the carbonite freezing, he would burst into song, "Once I was blind, but now I see."

-The clones wars would have started because Darth Maul fought to allow C3PO & R2D2 to live together.

-Obi Wan would have said to Luke, "Use your mind, Luke."

Jedi's could choose to be Local Jedi's after doing to License to Jedi school.

Probationary Jedi's would shortly be called provisional Jedi's and have to only serve 2 years instead of 3.

D(arth).S. Vader isn't nearly as bad as that D.S. I had when I was a Local Jedi...

Would all the called Jedi be allowed to go to local school? Or, would the preachers and DS's demand a convuluted process to get in?
